the location felt really convenient. it was close to southwark station, a detail i found especially useful. the room was clean and modern, a detail .
The bathroom had a strange smell. It was hard to ignore. i could not figure out where it came from. also, the quality of the towels felt quite poor.

The breakfast had a good variety and was reasonably priced at £13 each staff were very helpful i thought.
The bathroom reminded me of a plastic prefab unit. I reminded me of i was in a caravan and it smelled like one too. Only one light worked in the bathroom.

Charmed by Southwark Stay

This location are great, Southwark station just around the corner. It are an easy walk to many places of interest. The breakfast buffet surprised me, it was plentiful with good variety.
The lighting system prove a bit tricky. One have to switch on the master switch before operating the bathroom light. This takes getting used to and felt unnecessarily complex.

The hotel bar features a selection of local ales and international wines, perfect for a relaxed evening. The restaurant serves a daily menu with options for both meat eaters and vegetarians. There is also a small fitness area containing basic equipment.

The hotel's proximity to Southwark station was certainly a plus. A bus stop in front was convenient. I also appreciated the midday checkout time. It is slightly rare. Storing my luggage before check-in and after check-out was easy.
The hotel lacked a mini fridge for storing some drinks. I wish the hotel had this amenity.

The room was quiet, so I didn't hear much noise from other rooms. It had nice modern design and good lighting. The room window can be opened. This allowed for fresh air.

The hotel is near subway stations Waterloo, Southwark and Blackfriars. It is only 500 metres away from the City and square mile. I had access to a water cooker and enough tea and coffee.

The restaurant seemed great for dinner too. I observed the availability of breakfast each morning. It looked fine. I did not try lunch or dinner .

The front desk staff were accommodating! They allowed early check-in. They also told us to be careful for pickpocketers in areas around the hotel and certain places. around the city

Check-in was quick. I got to my room without any hassle! The room was clean, and most things I needed were there. Breakfast had a good variety and was quite reasonable! All staff members were very helpful. The location is great.
The room was very discouraging. It seemed like a manufactured room. The bed was the worst I have ever slept on. It was hard as rocks! I couldn't sleep the second night. The pillows seemed like chunks of foam rubber.

great locationconvenient servicenearby supermarket
the hotel's proximity to southwark station is a real plus. i could easily hop on the tube and explore different parts of the city (it saved me a ton of time!). the hotel also let me store my luggage before check-in and after check-out, a super convenient service. the staff even pointed out the nearby tesco express.
The room lacked a mini fridge. I could not store some drinks.

The reception personnel showed devotion and kindness. It is noticeable. i asked for assistance, and they were great too help (i really appreciated that!). the staff quickly granted my request for extra closet hangers.

a lovely stay near everything!

The hotel is close to southwark underground station. It made getting around so easy. the breakfast had lots of choice and got topped up often. the room was clean and a good size, which i really liked.
